September in Austria means Joseph Haydn’s Music, Fashion, Food and Art.

The annual “Knödelfest” from 18 – 20 September celebrates Austria’s famous dumplings. The world’s longest dumpling table will thrill visitors’ palates. The 300-metre-long table will display around 26,000 delicious dumplings along the St. Johann’s Speckbacherstrasse.

The International Haydn Festival, in Eisenstadt from 3 – 13 September is the high point of Austria’s concert season. Works of other Composers will be presented to show their relationship with the great composer.

Vienna Fashion Week from 7 – 13 September at the MuseumsQuartier is the destination for everyone interested in Fashion. Shows exhibitions and many parties provide a chance for international designers to show their latest collections. More than 70 designers will present their creations in 60 shows.

This year comes with a novelty as this is the first time that  the Vienna’s “viennacontemporary” will be held from 24 – 27 September. Collectors, artists, curators, gallery owners and art enthusiasts from all over the world are expected in Vienna to have a look at the newest art fair.
