October in Berlin is full with Festivals, good food, music and…Horror nights!
Berlin Food Week from Sep 29 – Oct 4. You can’t consider yourself a real foodie if you miss the opportunity for a week of gourmet workshops, tastings and exhibitions. The week also included the Staatmenu program in which 50 leading Berlin restaurants offer a special prix fixe menu for curious foodies.
Grosby Stills and Young Oct 7 at Tempodrom. The rock and roll hall of fame band have the same spirit and energy as in Woodstock in 1969.
Cirque du Soleil from Oct 8- 11 at Mercedes Arena. Immerse yourself to the unique atmosphere of Verekai an enchanting forest world at the top of a volcano. The magical performance will satisfy everyone.
Festival of lights from Oct 9-18 that brings lights in every historic landmark of the city like the Brandenburg Gate and Berlin Cathedral. The spectacle begins at 7pm with a kaleidoscope of light projections laser shows and interactive video art. You will be amazed!
Harvest Festival from Oct 10-11 at Domane Dahlem , a farm dating back to 1600 that is still in operation as a open air agricultural museum with soil to dig and animals to pet. Food and drink, a market of organic products and traditional handcrafts as well as engaging hands-on activities are some the festival features.
Horror Nights for Halloween fans will be open Oct 17, 23-24 and 30-31 at the Potsdam’s Filmpark Babelsberg. Monsters, mutant, zombies roaming in every corner. Must be 16+ to enter.
